Certainly an acceptable approach. Great Sci-fi atmosphere. Possibly too many weapons - the vehicles are perhaps a bit small for so many! I've really enjoyed your series of war machines so far.
RETIRED
gives the impression of acid rain ... perhaps a bit of a yellowish tone to give imptression of sulfur & volcanic atmosphere. definately not in my neighborhood.
