Mrs Duck leaves her nest, after covering the eggs carefully, at 6.15 a.m. each morning, and waddles off across the garden, looking all round for danger- sits down in the middle of the road for a minute, then takes off for the lake. She is back by 7 a.m. and nothing seems to faze her. We had the Electricians working on outside lighting right by her for two days and she just sank low and stayed still. I had a quick peep and she has lined the nest with down from her breast. Nature can be cruel but I feel very humbled and priviledged to see her hand in this little miracle.

i like the amount of detail in this one, the colouring could maybe a little bit more harmonic and unite over the whole image.
