Description

HEllo. :) Here is my Grand Fathers Old Grindstone. I have thought about making a bench for it, so it could work again. Maybe I will. :) I like very much the shape, but I also like it because it was my grandfathers.

Take it on the Antique Road Show before you use it- Who knows? Beautiful shot and colors. I love gray and windy!

You have so much history to photograph around your own home it's amazing. Wonderful picture of your Grandfather's grindstone. Snowy and windy here.

Such lovely textures and what a neat thing to have. Suggestion: Next time make the full image the crop you used in the thumb...it would make a super abstract.

Like you, I'd have to get this stone working again. Its the history and meaning behind it that makes it special. Great shot!

Hi TwoPynts. ! Thank you very much for your nice comments. Funny you should mention that, because I actually did take a closer shot of the grindstone, of the same reason you wrote, but I didnt upload it. It was not sharp enaugh. Perhaps I wil try again. :) Have a lovely day. Helle.
