Description
The staircase was made of huge blocks of stones with pie shaped steps that spiraled steeply downward. The staff of the Archmage might have given him enough light to see where he was stepping, but the curve of the stairs meant I only had a glimmer of light. I used both hands to guide myself as I descended. My greatest fear was that someone or something would try to ascend as we were descending. There was not enough space for two people
