Milady had escaped. As we all knew she would... One can only imagine what thoughts swirled as she hastened, rushing through the corridors and scrambling the many staircases ... following the screams ... But when Milady turned that corner ... when she looked down... when she saw what her enemies had done... what her enemies were doing... Those of us who managed to look up, like myself, who saw her face just before the end... we knew... we knew our enemies would regret this day... And peace came over us...
