Hey guys, missing you all but I'm still busy learning. Here's a bad drum I made in Hexagon2...forgot to smooth it before exporting. I am getting better but I had this one done and wanted to use it to let you all know about a contest at www.dreamslayerartworks.

You have to be a member or sign up to be a member to participate. The contest ends April 30th and there were no images entered the last time I looked. People tend to wait till the end and I do know some people who will be entereing. The theme is Legends of Evil....Jason Voorhese - Friday the 13th. Just seems too good not to let everyone know about it.
They also have a contest and challenge going on with multiple winners...5 in the contest and 3 winners in the challenge...with prizes.
There are also contests in their Evolutions site (fairies and such) and their DarkerRealms (nudity) with prizes. Shhhhhh....their store is now open too :)

Glad to see you're still around and learning. Being one of you first objects done with Hexagon, I think that drum did come out pretty well. Simple objects can look great with the right textures. So, sometimes is better to employ more time creating the textures than the object itself. I like the effect of toxic waste leaving the drum. Hmmm, if you're still wearing shorts, the temperature needs to increase a bit more. 8-)

Greetings Nancy! No doubt you're having a good time learning your new software apps. Looks like it's coming along quite well. If only there was some way to add an extra 12 or 16 hours to our day there is so much more we'd have time to learn! I'll have a pic of one of my home accessories to post within the week. A Magical Metal Mosaic Mirror! Don't stay gone too long. Give us a post from time to time! After I finish this current project I'll take a short break to build a new wheelchair ramp for my stepson and , hopefully, take a little time to complete a graphic to post.
