Description

Nikon 7900 image, Here is the 3rd and last of the Golden Bee pics. I posted this one because it shows the very distinctive yellow patch on his nose. This is not an accumulation of pollen but the actual color. That and the beautiful golden color of the upper body made this a very noticble bee and one I have not seen before. Unfortunately, I still have not been able to identify the species. Thanks for the comments on the previous 2 days postings of images of this cute little creature. Lee

Even though I am terrified of bees, you have managed to make this one so endearing to me. I almost want to take it home, name it and make it my own...ALMOST. LOL. I love all the views you have given us of this tiny creature. It is a most lovely bee and your skill is apparent in this series.
