Description
A view of the beach from Saltburn. A seaside town in the North East of Yorkshire built in the Edwardian and Victorian times. Before this it was a 3 or 4 building fishing village famous for smugglers.

ooo - that is a pleasant surprise, i'd recommend thumbnailing the whole photo, not just a portion of it next time - because it did look slightly bland from the thumb, and now i see that cliff and the rocks, well it rocks! :) Very nicely done and great colours... the cliff and rocks in the foreground add a nice compositional element to the photo :)

Wonderful light and compo! Only thing is that I view all my images as "full view" and it's a little big for my screen that size, so a little hard to take it all in. Probably only me and my monitor tho, lol.

Ahh saltburn. I used to go horse riding on that beach. You have captured the place's beauty wonderfully with your orange tones. The blue of the sky is a wonderful contrast. Did you colour balance the image at all?

I cannot believe I failed to comment on this pastoral scene, though I have visited and looked at this photograph now four times. I should also add that the image and the light upon the scene is very much like a painting. Thank you for sharing. egmont
