To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.
After that the critics can write what they please.
I have already settled it for myself so flattery
and criticism go down the same drain and I am quite free.

OK ... 'nother small joke: Rene was busy putting the last touches to a lavish table spread with all sorts of goodies at the annual Descartes' New Year's Party. The guests arrived and Rene was mingling with them and astounding them with his alacrity of thought, when Mrs. Descartes called to him to take out the special New Year's meat pies. He placed them on a sideboard away from the main table -- intended for the traditional post midnight revel repast. Still mingling he spied a hungry guest ranging over toward the meat pies. Like a flash he was upon him. "Not now Monsieur, he cried, "I think they're for 1 a.m.!" Very cool one Mina ... huggles!!! *****
