Description

A Tralfamadorian hiding in a closet. Just a quick study for a contest at DAZ. I don't know if it's really worth improving much other than the obvious, especially since the props don't render so well using Firefly, but the P4 renderer runs out of memory. I put it up mostly for the amusement value. A Tralfamadorian is an alien from Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse Five". They look like a toilet plunger with a hand on the end, in the middle of the hand is an eye.

I'd have done the Tralfamdorian all in one color, or in different colors to differentiate him from a REGULAR plunger. (As compared to a 'Plunger from Another World!!' OooooooOooooooEEeeeeeeeeeeoooooooo! ^__^ V,, LOL) Your utility closet is more realistic than the ones where I live! Great job!

Have no idea what a Tralfamadorian is, or which object it is in your scene LOL, but I like the concept, nice to see something different.

A great still life. It's almost harder to pose objects like that than figures. Realistic lighting, and even a warped poster effect I've been meaning to try myself. :)

The lighting looks really very good. I'll echo DapperMan that the ripple on the poster is VERY nicely done, good job. Really the only suggestions I have are to try rendering with smooth polygons enabled (for the clothing hanger pole edges) and to warp the bristles on the floor broom with a magnet, to get a little bend on them. Maybe a tiny bit of Glossy shader on the plastic Wet Floor cone. Really a nifty image, for all that it's an image of a janitor closet :)
