Description
"Then down the wide lane betwixt the two columns a lone figure strode; a tall, slim figure with the young face of an ancient Pharaoh, gay with prismatic robes and crowned with a golden pshent that glowed with inherent light."
So does the Crawling Chaos Nyarlathotep appear to Randolph Carter in H. P. Lovecraft's 'The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath'. He has a thousand other forms, however, only a few of which will not bring madness to one so unfortunate as to behold them.
