Description

Villa Torlonia was a sort of summer annex to the main Torlonia palace. Built at the beginning of XIXth century by architect Valadier, a guy who helped define the present looks of many parts of Rome. Mussolini used it as his private summer residence. Then it went into decay, and has recently been painstakingly restored. It's interesting, very heavily decorated, airy, large but not too large ... piece of history ... Nikon D40
