Ooooh :-) The Scottish spring..cold, but with a glorious hint of warmth. (That all too often never actually materializes). Thank you for introducing me to these stones .. and with such fabulous photo's. I shall upload some I have taken of the Callanish stones.

yup - very nice composition, although maybe the stone in the foreground might do better piercing the horizon a bit more, as it is now it melts into the cairn slightly. a scene well captured, it's as i remember it :)

I love stone outcroppings and these are not megaliths in the normal sense, still they are a part of nature and we do not enough to appriciate their presence. Thank you for sharing. egmont
