Description

Big soap bubble with a water drop splash inside. Lots of reflections, refractions, projections. My dropper stand and trigger are reflected on the edge of the soap bubble. Rotated most of the wankyness out. ;) I hope you didn't get any soap in your eyes during the visit. Mike No trickery. As Rich says, water or milk or anything wet I suppose will pass right through. I created the bubble by blowing through a piece of plastic tubing with one end touching the surface on the soapy water. I used dishwashing liquid and the blue food coloring has some glycerin in it which helps with the size of the bubble.

I will never understand how you did this. This is just mindblowing! #:oO Wouldnt the drop have bursted the bubble? Is it a composite? One shot with the bubble and one with the drop merged together? Yeah im gonna be thinking about this one for quite some time, lol.

Yeah, I agree. Excellent capture, but how? Was the bubble made first, then drop the water? Or is the water soapy as well as the water dropped? Really cool however...

to those above - drip a drop through a bubble with a camera pointed at it and you will find out... no trickery involved here - water passes through bubbles without breaking them. I prefer this one to yesterday's, more balanced and less wonky - and that blue is a nice touch ;)
