Description
This was taken in Amsterdam a week and a half ago.
It's the bow (right?) of a sailing ship in front of the naval museum. In the background is "Amsterdam's Largest Chinese Restaurant" or so they tell me.
Thanks for looking. Any comments and advice is always appreciated. If you see something I could improve on, please let me know - you won't hurt my feelings.
Thanks,
David

Hi David, I really like this shot. The colours are superb and the POV excellent given the eyes a real treat! The only thing that I might have done is to rotate the image slightly clockwise so that the bars in the foreground were horizontal, I find that just slightly distracting and keep cocking my head sideways to view it (only slightly though!!) That doesn't however, detract from the beautiful image and it's wonderful clarity and contrasts. Great capture. xx

Hallo David a nice view over Amsterdam, you mist just a few important points ......... the church in the background is the Nicolas church and next to it was an old paint factory Vettewinkel .... even more important, on the left side of the chuch you will find the "walletjes" world fameous Red light district, quite a challence to make photo's over there >>>>>>> LOL ......... you might get a " blue eye or a remoddled camera"!!! Have a nice day!!! Henk

I love the composition of this image. The bow of the sailing ship really makes a great frame for the rest of the picture to sit it. Well done!
