Description
I had bought this texture and I really like it but wasn't quite sure what role I wanted to put him in. So he went from a roman gladiator to a beef-cake poser. He's also been a soldier and a cop too!
Just so happened the radio started playing John Mellencamp and well...now you know how he finally turned out.
I don't think anyone here has done a rock-star render like this before (but I could certainly be wrong!) so here he is...Cole - Rockin in the USA!
Hope you enjoy him and thanks for looking!!!
BTW: this is Cole from illusions-designs.net

Coooool!!!! Outstanding work!!

Neat. I like the way it looks like an album cover illustration. Poor guy is probably as deaf as Pete Townsend now.

Whoooa Cole!!!!! The shadows are great :) Excellent posing

The pose and expression says it all, very nicely done. The lighting, though, seems a bit harsh. Ok i know it's maybe on stage and under big lights but it does produce a rather flat image. By prefereance, i'd add shadows in postwork but you could probably sort it out pre-render.

The pose is very good, especially the hands around the mic. I agree that the image is rather flat. I can't put my finger on why he doesn't seem lifelike. It may be his expression, his upper face is uninvolved in comparison to his mouth. You have all the right ingredients, you just need the spark.

I love the pose and expression. I normally hate open mouthed expressions, but this one is wonderful. It's very natural. I think the image may look a bit flat because of the lighting. If the lights are strong and all to the front, I would expect to see some harsh shadows in back of him against the amps. The props are really well done in the way you have them attached to him, very natural looking.

Looks fantastic to me. The expression and his pose excellent. Well i think some people forget this are not real images, this images are doing by 3d software. It is very hard to bekomme a realistic look. ;)No i have no critique point here because I KNOW how hard the light and shadow setting are could be. I make my light the most of the time by my self. So i know what i am talking about. Your work here is from the technical view Excellet!!!!

He's a hunk!!!!!! M3 does not get used enough, IMHO!!

Sexeh! I'd only suggest a little cooler color on the light, maybe tone down the red a little bit, unless that's really intended - raw spot lights are very white with a little blue, but you can assume there's a gel in front of the light if you like. Great job :)

What an incredible Character. The lighting is magnificent and compliments the stage scene superbly. Excellent work and a very realistic character. My sincere apologies for my lack of commenting, I have been exceptionally busy. Steve :o)
