Description

"How strange this fear of death is! We are never frightened at a sunset" ~ George MacDonald

Another infrared portrait, not quite a freaky as the last. ;'] Taken of Lisa at sunset in the Lake Helen cemetary, near the Devil's Chair. (click to visit) Being in the graveyard after dark is against local law, so we could not confirm the story. I will say though as I stood behind the chair, some strange sounds came up from a within a crack in the back of it that gave me goosebumps... -----

Thanks for your hulking comments on my previous upload, thumb_1427930.jpg The 1001 Yard Stare My thanks to those of you who also participated in the Constructive Critique posted yesterday. ----- Sony DSC-P200 (IR Converted) & PhotoshopCS. The IR portrait looks really fabulous! Especially after visiting the link the portrait shows a creepy atmosphere! Fascinating normally a dark light shows a scary atmosphere - here it's exactly the opposite the bright IR ligt provokes the creepy mood!! Wonderfully taken and thanks for the creepy link!!!

This would be a great pic for Halloween! Terrific story and link, Kort. In this IR shot, Lisa certainly looks like she has seen the evil one!

Phantastic capture in this IR study, with lovely detail and directional light and shadow in play here! Also, first time I've seen a picture of Lisa up close. I was wondering what was going through her mind while in the presence of things that go bump in the night.

A most interesting treatment of a potrait and I hope you also took the photograph as a non IR since I personally like the composition and setting, believeing that as a colour or black and white photograph it would resemble some of the Italian portrait paintings of the 16th and 17th century. Thank you for sharing. egmont
