Description

Took this while waiting on my train the last night I was in DC. I would have waited for a train to come into station but the next train comming was mine and I couldnt miss it and still catch a bus back to the hotel. The size of the station was just awsome and I love the way my wide angle lens took it all in. Many thanks for looking and your comments.

classic photo and well exposed, the train would have been nice - maybe go back one day and do it :) however, one thing i find with very geometric compositions is that any slight "offness" is exaggerated, in this case you are either slightly to the right of the centreline or the camera is tilted ever-so slightly counter-clockwise... remedy would be a little play around in ps with perspectives and rotations. A very difficult shot to nail - especially with a wide angle :)

Yeah, I recognize the Metro stations, designed to serve as bomb shelters. There are so many renderings on this site, I wouldn't have believed that this was a photo if not for the people in it!
