Description

These are from last year... October 2006 My first nightshots with the D50 taken in Eureka, CA at the marina at around 10pm. This was a test of patience for me... I usually miss these kinds of shots by seconds and just go grrrrr at myself and my luck :-) But this time I was determined not to miss it. I saw a boat off in the distance that looked like it was headed my way so I set up the tripod and waited and waited and BAM I got it... I almost woke up the entire marina with my shouts of joy at my little success hahaha. Half expected to be taking light streak shots of a cop cars flashing lights next :-))))))) Constructive Critiques always welcome here... no matter what your level of experience is. Thank you so much for your time in viewing my work today :-)))) Lisa

A Humboldt presence. I once noticed two huge wooden jacks in front of a store in Eureka that matched two huge cement ones in Hollywood, Florida. Observation is nine tenths of the law.
