Description

I hope on one minds the amount of post processing on this. The background was a disaster, so I pulled the blossom out and stuck it on solid black. Believe me, it's better this way. :-) I liked the way these flowers trapped water. Every petal seemed to have its own puddle. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Unusual flower and the love the puddles. Never seen a ginger blossom before but I do know if you buy a piece of ginger root from the store and plant it, it grows into nice ginger plant! Nice work!

These beautiful ginger always work best with a dark background. I know what you mean about the natural background as I do have ginger plants at my home. And that extra puddle of water makes it so refreshing. Beautiful work. Aloha

I had no idea that ginger had such a beautiful blossom. I think I'll buy some ginger and plant it to see if I can grow a ginger plant. I love the little puddles too.
