I do love this. I question the black playing piece in that position though because it isn't distinct enough to explain the loss of focus on the bottom of the fallen piece behind until you really look closely. I love the concept and the compo with just that small observation.

A most intriguing photograph, to go along with your huge archive of intriguing photographs. Kind of hard for me to determine, but I assume the main subject matter is at the bottom of the picture, indicating an unpropitious drop from the table top. In any event, a supreme composition and extremely well done!
