Description

One of my favorite pastor's had a little sign on his office desk, called the "Fisherman's Prayer." Something in the simplicity and the humility of the words sank deeply into my consciousness and has always stuck with me. I purchased the wonderful little Galilee Fishing Boat by Pappy here at Renerosity and those words came immediately to mind; hence, this picture. I dedicate it to all the men and women of all nations who sail that vast watery mantle we call the ocean, be they on a crab boat or a nuclear powered aircraft carrier. This is my prayer for you. I really liked this picture and the colors. It is so opposite of the complex pictures that I usually attempt. Sometimes, simplicity is best. As always, your visits and comments are deeply appreciated. Jeremy CREDITS: Bryce 6, Poser 6, and PSP 5. Figure: Michael 3 (DAZ); using "El Captain" morphs and textures by ExprssnImg (Renderosity); his loin cloth is by pappy411 (Renderosity). Boat: "Pappy's Galilee" by Pappy411 (Renderosity). Wake: A super freebie created by spacebones (Renderosity). Water texture: Jonathan Allen (Renderosity). Sky: created by me in Bryce 6.

The boat wake is a nice touch. God must've heard his prayer, its a beautiful day for sailing. The sail could've used an emblem or some painted geometric form on it.

The tread of the water is fantastic!! How do you import your objects into Bryce? Daz Studio or wavefront obj? I would REALLY like to know if you have the time to tell me your method.
