Description

Yes I am trying to do more faeries... I think they're beautiful and I wanted to be able to do as well as some of those here that make incredible faerie images. This was actually alot of fun to make :P I postworked in some sparklies and the soft focus for an added fantasy feel to it (in PSP) Look forward to any comments! :D

When your gonna do this ..do it your way ... The sparkles are so ..eummm over done by every body.. Same for the soft tone ... I think you can make your own style with this ... your other stuff has a own style ..done go and do what all the others do.. Keep you style ! :} Chris

Personally I really like this image, the composition is good, the colors and the outfit are perfect for a picture of the fae. I like the Point of view on this as it adds an element of drama to the image, gives you a voyueristic feel. As far as the difused lens and the sparkles, I like the softness of the image. The "good" fae are most commonly portrayed in this manner but, in my opinion you should keep the hard edge shapes and harshness for the "evil" fae. I think the softness is what gives the character more of a feel of innocence. Beautiful work.

I am normally not a big fan of faerie images, but this is a great piece of work. Nothing negative to say at all, I would just try for more "free from gravity" look to the hair but that's just my preference. Lovely, finely-crafted piece of art. Especially graceful hand posing.
