My name is Colonel Samus Aran. I am a Bounty Hunter for the galactic federation. The Year is 1995 C.C. (Cosmic Calander). I was set out with the orders of Retrieving a organism from Planet K-2L. This organism was said to Take energy and create from other organisms. Upon reaching the planet I found that the research facility where i was supposed to retrieve the package was in ruins. Planet K-2L was used a research facility for earth. The scientist there were researching a new energy source. Unlimited energy would mean global harmony and peace between all. Creatures ran free that i have never seen before. Everyone was dead. Biologist, Mechanics, Physicist, everyone but one little girl. I found her hiding inside one of the cabans. Not a scratch on her. The girl was in shock and seemed to have amnesia. The only thing she did remember was Zebesian. Zebesians are space pirates who go from planet to planet taking whatever resources they need and leaving it in shambles. They've must have been after the package. The organism is called a metroid. "Metroid" means "ultimate warrior" in the Chozo language. Metroids were bio-engineered by the birdlike extra-terrestrials, the Chozo, on the planet SR-388. The girl. A fighter. A survivor.
