Description

"Appear like a god, vanish like a demon." - a ninja saying, apparently. See if you can reason why i chose this particular proverb to accompany the image. Thanks for your comments over this series, i'm glad you liked them. This is the last one - although i could always go back and do some more if i wanted :) Enjoy! Rich

I love this series, its going great for you. I love your post work (if there is any) and the choice of crop and white background. It all works perfectly together, very original :-)

Well I think you chose that proverb due to the strong lines of the smoke "standing" tall as a God would appear but the way it gently disappears as it reaches the top would be like the vanishing of a demon?? That may not be why you chose it, but that's how I perceive the image in conjuction with the proverb - I guess there's no right or wrong answer, just a way to get us to think about the shot and the artistry held within it. Superb capture, superb series and I for one will look forward to the day you want to do some more! xx

You have got to be one of the more creative photographers I have seen the work off. You've got some really good ideas with your images, and you have executed them really good as well. By the way, my "Barbed Wire" image was shot with an 8 mm f3,5 Fisheye :)I'm a bit of macro/nearfield photographer myself. It's so many interesting things upclose. Keep it up and good luck on that exhibition of yours.
