Description

Trying something different tried to get an effect of her being blown away into pixels.Not sure if i like the end result.Took an age to paint all of those little pixel size pieces one by one. Tips or advice on how to create the effect would be more than welcome Created in photoshop 7.

Oh! I love this!!! I don't know if it's actually helpful, but perhaps in corel photopaint you could first smere and then pixelate...(I've never tried though, so I don't know if it's working...)

DLG-VERY COOL! There are some PHotoshop plugins to achieve this effect though they wouldn't do just one side like you have done. Toadies, blast & blur, eye candy,etc. What you could do is create the blast on a separate layer, then erase the parts you don't want showing and use it as an overlay. They are free plugins, just google for them,worth a try if it would save ya alot of time. Great idea and render though! Maeve

DLG ? ? ok so I have no clue what DLG stands for, just hate being the odd one out LOL Awesome image John, I think you did a fantastic job with the FX, I think prionbrain could be on to something with the smudg & pixelate, the only other way I could think of is to mask a section, sample the colour and use an airbrush with a very low flow rate and opacity. Make lots of strokes each one shorter than the last starting away from your figure and dragging towards it. Only an idea, I think it would be quicker than painting 1 pixel at a time.
