Well, I'm sorry to say it, but Teddy has gotten another home. My brother's allergies were just going crazy, so we couldn't keep Teddy any longer. The good thing is, much as I miss him and was looking for him earlier today (bad memory, you see), he got a wonderful home. I'm so happy - I feel like he went where he was supposed to go. In my time on this planet, I've had seven cats, not including my mother's, whose purr I felt before I was even born. A lot of people ask me how it feels, and yes - I miss all of my cats. Particularly Mattie, my last one. He was a God, not a cat to me. But all of them went where they were supposed to go. Shylo got adopted to a family with three cats, so she had plenty of friends to talk to - and talk she did, lemme tell you. Yinny was a therapy cat at first, and then adopted by the lady who ran the shelter to which she was brought. Snapp was given as a birthday present. These are just some examples of what went on with the cats that I helped to bring trust to, to teach, and to show love. I didn't have a chance to grow with them, really, or even to call them my own. But perhaps they were never mine to begin with. Perhaps I was just preparing them for what was coming. I miss my cats. I love my cats, and always will. Teddy, my prince, my baby - purr loudly forever. Be good, honey. Be happy. We love you. I miss you already, but I know you're going to be okay, and that's what makes me the happiest.
