Description

Another shot from the planet of the Ilts, which name is 'Tramp', like a girl here on ReRo reminded me. The first time I experimented with overlays seriously; so I'm very interested in all your meanings! Rendertime was 5hrs 44mins add. setup-time was quiet long, cause I created 7 or 8 *.bmps for distribution of stratas and overlays; postwork ~45mins. DL-size is 1920x1200 as usual. Hope you like it. Wonderfully expansive scene with lovely contrasting colours, and the banking works well on this pov. Terrain and surfacing are excellent. Clever use of dust-stormy mist on the horizon. It might be more convenient to upload a smaller version as not many of us have a screen this big, and it spoils the viewing somewhat if you have to keep scrolling and panning to view the scene.

That terrain texture is amazingly real! I am going to have to start using Terragen. The POV is very interesting as well. I have a lot of trouble making realistic landscape textures when viewed closeup in Vue. Great work!
