Description
Shot taken a wee while ago, by the river Esk in Ruswarp. Today is one of the happiest days in my year!! My swifts and swallows returned home from Africa... I am overjoyed. I have 12 weeks of joy to watch and to hear them in my Bay sky!! Thank you, Oom Piet for keeping them safe and returning them to me :-) You kept your promise... Happy day and hugs. Diane.

Lovely - swifts are such a joy. I don't have them living here but in my previous house they nested among the roof tiles.

Swallows and "martinets" (sorry I don't know the english word ) are also back from Africa and it's always a so great pleasure to see them flying and singing above our heads when spring and warm days are here again.... Thanks Diane for this so quiet and beautifull place ....
