Description
I only learn what these thins are as I build them. That said, I can imagine this being some sort of autonomous construction platform -- spooling out the framework of an artificial planet (perhaps using raw materials from the nearby planetoid).
Modeled in GroBoto mainly using algorithmic 'AutoBots' -- some detailing done with 'BuildBots' . Rendered in the optional Outline rendering mode. No Post. Several GroBoto 2.1 features used: Object-Strip based AutoBots, Self-Illumination, Sky Gradient & Stars.
(GroBoto version 2.1 will be released in early May)
