Well, I can clearly see that one knee at least is well off the ground. Even the stoutest hearts can falter, but the difference between our hearts and those that would attack us is ours will never break. Good job TexasGal! :)

I have been wondering for days what that stars and stpes-textures globe is actually supposed to tell us. Your figure and its pose resemble the ancient motif of the Kariathides who carry the world on their shoulders. If "we will prevail" means to paint the whole world in stars and stripes I just wonder if the world actually wants to be painted in stars and stripes. I guess not.

A disabled nam vet who was deeply moved by this image. The globe dosn't represents for me an America of McDonalds and Coke machines,but an America of "the Bill of Rights" and dream of a safe,World for everyone,that is what most GIs want. Hell, thats most Americans want. Now I get down off my soap box . I woud like to see some gritty texture in your image. I would like to see more dirt and sweat. papanutt
