Description
Well, I've had a pretty busy few weeks. I worked on this image for the contest at SE for the past three weeks, but didn't finish in time to enter it. Sniff sniff. I almost made it though, but my kids come first and Monday's they have after school activities that they do. Plus they were pretty cranky tonight. School vacations really make kids cranky the first day they go back to school. Melt downs gallor! LOL Anyway, gotta love them. So I ran out of time. It just went by way to fast. LOL
Anyway, sorry for not being around and commenting much. Life's been crazy. I'll try and to do some commenting the rest of the week.
I tried to get as close to one of my favorit Royo images as I could. I did tons of postwork here, the BG, the wings, which I still am not thrilled with and the rest. The girl Tuva by Mariny was rendered in Poser.

This is truly a maserpiece of work, Maria. OMG..how good you are at painting and postwork sweetie! I am sooo sad to hear that you were not able to finish it to the contest :( I have not seen the other entries, but I am pretty sure this one has to be one of the best..it is just SO Royo. I love the way you have posed her, and the you have painted her outfit is perfect down to the smallest detail. Her hair is outstanding and the background, the rock, her wings, everything is just magnificent sweetie! I am sorry if not all letters shows up in here, my keyboard is acting totally nuts here now LOL. I hope you are doing fine even though you have a lot to do Maria! Maria, I do think we are our own worst critics sometimes. We are so hard on ourselves. But, I do understand when working on a project when we don't have that "ah" feeling yet. We know it in our gut, when we are finished. Dear Maria, one wouldn't know by the view you've given us here that she isn't finished. I look at her and one moment she looks contemplative and another she looks to be meditating. Although, I'm pulled more to the later given the elements are at work here around her. The tones are soothing and you find yourself easily pulled into her. For me a n instantaneous connection is felt. Bravo!! You've got first place in my book! ((HUG)) ~Michelle~
