Description

This is the exact same scene that I rendered in DAZ Studio but rendered in P7. The image uses the Pro Radiance Lights and the ElfDance - Anime Hair, along with the Milennium Environment from DAZ. This is a prime example why I don't use D|S - the light handling is just not good even though the OpenGL rendering is very fast.

Very dramatic, love the well-integrated background and her expression. I would probably blur the background slightly, but that is just my preference.

It is excellent - but I believe that you can do as good lighting in DAZ Studio expecially with the Light Dome Pro and the Studio Light Pro

much better! the light does look better here, but i wouldn't exactly blame d|s for that. i find the lights in d|s excellent, even if the point light behavior frustrates me. poser light settings are different than d|s light settings, and you have to adjust somewhat. that said, i got great results from one main and one backlight spot. i love the sheen on her body, and i think touches of it would look nice on her face. very sweet!

Love it! Never saw the D/S render though. I have D/S, but I'm too used to Poser and don't have time to learn D/S at the moment. I have seen D/S renders as good as anything Poser can put out, so I know it CAN be done. :)

I agree that the lighting and color and well the whole general composition looks better here :) I've never used D|S so I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to help you there. Lovely image, nicely done :D Cheers!

Nice looking character, not that familiar with DS, only used it when it first came out, but from memory, I don't actually think Poser light sets work in DS anyway, the set up is different. That is one reason I never used it then because I sux at lighting LOL. This picture is lovely though.
