The expression on her face was a complete accident but I liked it so I went with it :P Heck, this image started out where I was determined not to make her a fae. Ah well, I should know better then to think I actually control what happens with my renders hehe!

I like the slightly dreamy quality of the background - that's good. I do think that the marked contrast between the colour tones of the background and the faerie figure makes it seem like she's not actually part of the image, rather that she's standing in front of a picture. The green lighting that you've used helps a bit I think but there's still too much difference for me. Nice expression though! ;)

Beautiful image. I really like her expression and pose. The ethereal background is also very interesting. Her right hand looks like it is grabbing the tree, but her hand pose looks like she has missed it. Still, very good work. -Alan

The expression really makes the picture. If you decide to expand on something with this character and a similar expression, I'd suggest a dorky little puck on the left side of the image, and she's giving him "Talk to the Hand" gesture with her right hand. Very cute character!

Very pretty image, love the expression. The only crit I have is the right hand, looks like her fingers are in the tree trunk, might be the POV, but that is the impression I get.
