This is a terrain created with an alpha version of Geocontrol 2: http://www.cajomi.de/GeoControl/geocontrol.htm The new version will have a variety of spring/ river tools (they are currently in development) Lit with gradient light and soft shadows

Good god my man.., this looks so real I had to double take. Simply stunning!! I love the gradient light in the distance, it creates a fantastic sense of realism. Kinda reminds me of getting up early on those warm spring mornings to go mushroom picking. I LOVE IT!!
