Description

I don't know why I'm able to overcome my fear of these when the camera is in hand but I do LOL. He was spotted on our back porch by my daughter who came in announcing that a HUGE spider was trying to gain entry! Luckily his backside was too big to allow him to squeeze thru the gap in the screen door and the threshold! YAY hahaha Watching me view the 20 shots I took of him to find a decent one to post... now that's a treat in itself to my family as I cringe and shreek everytime a new pic comes into view on my monitor ROFLMAO Here's the best of the bunch... I wish those two legs which are not as in focus were down to match the others in height but I wasn't about to POSE him!!!! NO WAY hahahha Thank you for your time in viewing this if you dared! Lisa oh and PS... we THINK it's a Wolf Spider but not sure as a search for it on the net was just NOT gonna happen hahahaha.

Ick, spiders, great shot, super textures. better you than me, I itch now. :) I am the designated spider remover of our household, i try to be as humane as possible when relocating my eight legged friends sometimes though they just get the foot...depends on their attitude, sometimes the bigger ones get a little aggressive.

Great shot...I have to agree with you on the depth of field here. By the way. It's not a wolfspider. I used to be heavily into these creatures. I had about 15 of them in my livingroom. Sure wish I could have taken a picture off the peoples faces I had visiting, it was funny every time hehe I can't really tell what kind this is, but there are some features on it that strikes me as odd, but it's probably just the angle or the photo itself. Good luck, and keep it up.

Well I am squirming in my seat watching this. I usually feel totally fearless when looking through a lens.........but this would be an exception. I know how you feel though!
