Digital art is currently retracing the steps Phootgraophy had to go through a coupple decades ago to be accepted as Art. Unfortunately the Art World is full of People Who Know What Is Art. sigh.... Heck, Illustration is still Not Considered Art in places like the Guggenheim Museum. As for the image, GREAT WORK!

I couldn't agree more with your comments about digital art. You would think that folks involved in the arts would have a more open & accepting attitude towards new forms of expression, but sadly they can be just as set in their ways as anyone else. Nice work on this - I like the grand scale & classical feel of it - & thanks for including me in such distinguished company...

Well, I'm blown away. This is just fantastic. And one of mine is in your collection, you flatter me. As for the 'tude of some 'traditional' artists: Digital art is new and like all new things it is treated with suspicion or even rejected by the old guard. Photography was similarly shunned in its infancy. Sigh.

OH MY.. I had the same exact experience two weeks ago. The gallery made me feel so bad until they saw my prints on Hahnemule fine art photo rag paper. They were tempted but said the other artists would not approve.. Geeeze..... This is beyond excellent for 3D digital..this is exemplerary (sp?). Sign me up for your gallery, be it as an artist or just someone allowed to view the fine artists displaying their work. :=)

Great idea!!! It is an interesting juxtoposition of ideas that some people should show a preference for a so called work of art by a painter and yet have prints on their walls which are virtually the same in format as a print from a digital source. I paint and draw as well and certainly would not descry any who choose other mediums but unfortunately there are those throughout the history of art who would rubbish anything that does not appear to conform so to speak. You have only to look at the problems the impressionists faced as a clear example when trying to gain acceptance.

The image is more than outstanding!!! Much as I hate to admit it...it takes time to break down traditional thinking, but if we all keep doing what we do...we will! Keep up the good work!

Well...the Art world is full of snobbery and muted opinions...exactly the opposite of what it should represent....this image is unreal...see?...even I said "image"...anyway ...what a fantastic render{did it again}...the sense of scale is amazing...not easy to achieve,don't despair...talent always wins out in the end,and you have a tonne of it!

Yes my friend it is a sad fact that dig-art is still not as broadly accepted by the traditional artists but hey - its still new and times will change. Anyway this piece is ace spent alot of time looking at the details. Its also quite calming and relaxing and a break away from the intence sc-fi stuff -(all good though) Keep it up Haltek

About the lack of respect for digital art, I am sure that cafe owner is impressed in the special effects in movies... I come across this bias too. This is a marvel of work.
