great picture of one our little helpers...poor honey bees are disappearing so rapidly around the world, which doesn't bode well for both humans and other wildlife...thanks for sharing...

Oh very nice shot. I found myself looking at the flowers a little more than the bee because they're caught beautifully! Of course, the bee is too. Excellent shot!

Bees are so awesome as is this capture I wish people would not try to kill them because they sting, I try to tell people the bees are so important because they pollinate our food and are very important to our survival, super pic , people see this and like them more and not hurt them!

Awesome capture of what appears to be an endangered species here in NY state too. Some beekeepers are reporting up to 80% losses in their hives. Some say it's a virus, some feel it's the newer pesticides that are harming the neurological systems of bees, causing them to not find their way back to their hives, and dying out in the fields. A sad state of affairs, one local bee keeper has had to refuse several farmers the services of his hives because he lost so many bees. The cost of fresh fruits and vegetables will be going up, as will the cost of meats. I have not seen any honey bees so far this year, only bumlbebees.
