Description

A REALLY BIG APPOLOGY FOR NOT BEING AROUND LATELY. I have been busy seaching for a new flat to move into. This image was taken yesterday at my friends back garden. canon 20d canon 100mm macro lense aperture f/4 shutter speed 1/125 little bit of colour adjustment in cs2 pls, critical & non critical comments r welcome.

Holy word not suited for younger ears! This was awesome. The DOF here lend itself to a certain quality to the image, but at the same time it would have been nice with a bit more. I can't really make up my mind about that, so I'm going for a "great shot" here hehe

An excellent shot ! Fanatstic tonal quality, saturation and DOF. One minor point though :) It looks to me that you may have applied some vignetting in cs2. If so, I find it intrudes a little too much on the tips of the wing and the nearest legs. If, however, it is caused by out of focus foreground elements, just forget I said anything about it :)

Agree with mayda - colours are great for this, i am normally inclined to say more dof for this kind of shot but the way you have the focus running down the wing tip makes this shot, so yeah - nicely done :)
