Description

This pict was part of my Poser7 test for Creation Numerique magazine (Digital Creation) but in fact was not published in it. The elements of this scene, namely the cute RalphLings and their SoloShips, are stuff offered with Poser7. The RalphLings are a frank success: they are extremely well conceived and anatomically interesting aliens. In fact the RalphLing character given with Poser is a baby, you can buy adult ones (they are marvelous, indeed) but only at the PoserPros shop. Some enchanting skin textures for them are sold separately. This is also one of my first scenes with Artmatic Voyager, a very interesting app that allows you to visit strange and beautiful landscapes. It is very simple and pleasant to work with, but is only operated by Mac platforms. You should have a look to the very active Artmatic Renderosity forum! It is not possible to put objects in Voyager (same was true for Terragen 0.9), therefore you have to assemble all the contents in your pixel mode app. Much postwork was necessary to create the scene in Photoshop CS2. This image is dedicated to Whiskeysierra, a prominent Renderosity artist who has created hundreds of marvelous scifi, fantasy and nature scenes with Bryce, and I invite everybody to visit his gallery.
