Description
my very first image with Vue 6 Esprit (downloaded it from e-on yesterday, spent 6 hours rendering this at full size 1024 x 640), it's a great program, very simple to use (it has to be if I can do it ;-)
some post-work done in Photoshop 7.
Anyway, here's my starting point... now it's time to start pushing myself... wish me luck.

A pair of 109s, heading towards? A very unusual design, perhaps a book cover for a sci fi epic a, around the bend is another dimension. Anyway its a great start.

Great Image! Congrats on your new purchase. Perhaps a size of 1024 x 768 would help to see a little more detail. Excellent!

Nice sense of movement, I look forward to getting Vue 6 when I have the funds available. Though Vue 10 will probably be around by then LOL. Nice first image keep them coming

Nice feeling of speed in this!!!

Wow, thank you all! I should perhaps also add that the render time is ridiculously long because I when with the Global Radiosity option, though in truth it probably wouldn't be a lot different on just a standard ray-traced (non-GR) render... all part of the learning curve, I guess. Garlor, they're Messchasmitts (apparently, I'm no aeroplane expert), and they're coming in to land on... well... a big yellow ball of light! LOL... I wanted to kind of add a sense of mystery, just what does the light represent? I like your Dimension theory, I think I'll go with that :-) Stevey3d, thank you it's a great piece of software, I can see lots of late nights tinkering with it ahead for me, and I may post a bigger image next time. Midge170, I added a little motion blur in PS to enhance the feeling of movement, and yes you should definitely save for it if you're interested in it, I can't get enough, it's (for me) a whole league ahead of Bryce... Thelby, thank you, as I say I added a motion (zoom) blur to this one in PS, but that's pretty much all I did, the colours and everything are all straight out of Vue. thank you all for your comments, I'll try to have another image ready asap.

Nice to see someone having a go. Nice cheerful image, watch your shadows, though, they can easily catch you out. Vue is a wonderful program, don't worry about Vue 6 too much, 5 is a lot easier to learn on. Bravissimo.

thank you, Ratfugel, I have another aeroplane Vue image to upload, I hope you'll appreciate that one too (though I'm sure it won't be historically accurate ;-) you do good Vue, too, I see. Thanks for the encouragement.
