Nice one Jocko, your wife helps give a sense of scale to Paul's gigantic, "kick as-" boot!!! (Sorry, could not resist the K-A. Sure would not want the guy that wears those boots mad at me. . . LOL ) Excellent find captured perfectly!
goodoleboy
Great shot showing the size of the boot compared in relation to the size of your wife. And, interesting sidelighting in this capture. Incidentally, Paul Bunyan's ox was named "Babe."

I thought he lived up around Minnesota someplace but I guess it wouldn't take too many steps to get down your way. Your wife's looking pretty happy, hope she's feeling better now. Looks like real leather on the boot, cool shot!

I don't know if Paul Bunyan subscribed to the Auburn Code of Silence that lumber camps kept at meals, but I do know he is imortalized in cement with his ox near Alpena , Michigan and Bimidji, Minnesota.

Paul must be busy man to lose his boot I'd hate to see what would happen if he lost his pants! That's cool we see your wife to, that is cool you include her in your artworks, super capture!
moochagoo
Its very funny, because we are in Freeport (Maine), and "Bean" (sports) shows the same kind of giant shoe !

Wonderful shot of your wife, love the back lighting, it does make it seem as if she has a halo! That is some boot, and I love that you posed your wife next to the boot to give us an idea of big that thing is! Poor Paul, running around half shod!

:-)) - my wife has the opposite problem: her feet are so small, she finds it difficult to find shoes small enough to fit - lol
