Description
This is a bud of my mom's bleeding heart that survived the freeze we had.
I think it is such a pretty old time flower.
I got my flower bed done and have been paying for it.
Cried for 2 days with severe pain and finally ended up going to E.R bad as I hated to but thankfully the pain has ended.
All my flowers are looking good.
Got lots of zinnias, my favs, cock comb, bee balm, petunias and planted my morning glories and others.
So glad all that is over and no more bending and digging for me.
Today was a big day in Kentucky. Derby Day Hubby and I had our first date there 25 yrs ago today:)
If I had bet I would have won $220.00, but alas no place to bet here in this ho dunk of a town, LOL and that would of been all of $5.00 something I could afford.

So sorry you experienced such pain whilst gardening Susan. My back was playing up after digging up the borders, removing old roots and riddling at the front of our house, last weekend, so I can empathise just a little bit! lol I am sure that the satisfaction of a job well done will make it all worth while and that you will have such a beautiful garden all summer. This is a very pretty plant indeed and I don't think I've ever seen one of this variety before. Excellent work in every respect my friend! Steve :o)

Lovely susan and the pink is a favortie of mine: you sound like me instead of getting the stronger sex in the family to do the things that need to be done we go ahead and do them ,IE: I paint walls paint cement flooring,scrape old cement away,etc etc hubby comes home from work "what did you do now?? he'll say well my answer to that is the old saying want it done and done now and right do it yourselve and yes OUCH"backpain for days: Well happy to hear ER could help you: hugs and prayers go way out there to you:

So sorry you had to experienc pain. I am sore after loading and un loading 5 truck loads of dirt into my front yard to place grass seeds where places have dried up. But not in so much pain where as I had to go to ER like you. I am sure your yard and garden is a place to behold. Look who tends and cares for it all. A special woman. This plant is very pretty. I haven't seen a bleeding heart in person. Just on pictures. Excellent work photography as always my friend.
