Description

Hello! Yesterday we were invited to the opening of a very special exhibition on the Museum, where I have been working for a few years. The original UNIC Solvognen is for the first time returned to its home area for a while. Usually they keep it in the national Museum in Copenhagen. I saw many of the Iron age and Viking founds, of which I found some of them my selv in some graves while working there few years ago. YAY! OH dear, it was a time I will never forget. It was like being in an Indiana Jones film my self. We were so extremely lucky and I found pearls and...yes bronze clasps, knives and much more. Oh what an adventure. They all are shown in the exhibition. Her is some of them in my drawings. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1310602&member The shot of Solvognen is not the best, because as you see, there is dark and only the founds are in light but also in glasscases. Therefor the reflexion. I hope you like it anyway. Here is link to more about Solvognen: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trundholm_sun_chariot Thanks for stopping by and for your comments to yesterdays Orchid.:)) Have all a lovely Sunday.

This is really cool stuff. How fortunate that you got to do that work! I bet it was really fun. Great picture! I don't mind the glass at all in order to see such a wonderful artifact.

Excellent and very intersting shot. Very well done. It's always hard to take a good shot in a dark museum without tripod or flash!
