THIS IS A PAINTING I MADE IN 1977. 30 YEARS AGO. INSPIRED BY A MOVIE CALLED THE DEEP. THE MONSTER WAS NOT IN THE MOVIE, I BELIEVE IT WAS ABOUT SMUGGLING. SOMETIMES GOING BACK INTO YOUR PAST WORK, BRINGS NEW WORK. HOPE YOU ENJOY. THANKS FOR VIEWING

Awe, c'mon people, you're making me feel old here. :-) It was about treasure hunters who find a cache of morphine while diving in Bermuda. It starred Nick Nolte, Jacqueline Bisset, and Jaqueline Bisset's very tight, very wet t-shirt. As a 12-year old boy, I remember it quite vividly. Nice painting, BTW! It has a really nice "old school" feel to it, kinda like those covers to fantasy/horror/adventure magazines and comics from the 50's and 60's. Cool stuff!
