Description
This yellow and red parrot tulip was in my friend Ann's garden. I'll try to let you know which ones are hers as I post them.
Ann is a fabulous gardener. You'll all be so jealous that I have such a good friend who grows all these beautiful things, just so I can come over with my camera! She's the one responsible for growing the Herb Robert I posted on May 1st, as well. I went over to her place one day a couple weeks ago and took over 150 photos! She called me Friday to tell me there would be more things to photograph in about a week.
We've been the best of friends for almost 25 years. She's very supportive of my photography, and will make sure I don't miss seeing anything!
The title is more whimsical than enigmatic. It's the title of a Donovan song from about 35 or 40 years ago. The colors suggested the title. The sun shining on that brilliant yellow . . . it just popped into my head.
