very interesting, I like the shallow focus a lot. I'd be tempted to push the gain in post and probably wouldn't have as interesting a picture as this... nice work.

That is an interesting effect you have going there, typical of your past efforts. Nice and amorphous and soft. When I was a kid, we had a movie theater in our neighborhood by the name of Bard's, or Bards, I can't remember which.
