Growing up in the New England area, as children in school, we often were told about the wonderful things that were done by the native americans with birch bark. Try as I might the only thing I ever made from birch bark, and made it well, was a mess. Very nice shot.

Is that naturally occurring? I remember as a young lad also stripping the paper tree's bark back home. Awesome capture, the texture really stands out!
