Cool goose. I will upload a similar portait in a few days of a Cape Barren Goose which looks just the same except it has Grey feathers and green beak. I have to say this is a beautiful portrait!! Cheers from louise.

Very nice shot. The eye of the guy is expressive, and it seems a little puzzled! your capture is just right, light and background are perfect..it's going on my favourite. I don't know if it's a guy, but doesn't matter ^__^

This is a magnificent portrait and the goose seems pleased enough a well even though it was interupted... :-) Gorgeous color and character in this.

Excellent POV and lighting effects in this shot of the beautiful goose! I particularly like the textural effect of the neck, kind of reminds me of a shag carpet. I think the avian was eating something at the time of the capture.

Yes it is a goose and I just like the way this bird looks at you as if saying 'Why are you taking my picture in the middle of my lunch. Don't you know I have food in my mounth and one does noot take pictures when someone is eating?' At least that is what I see in the birds expression. Go figure . . . Than you for sharing. egmont
