I've just acquired a Wacom graphics tablet and this is my second piece of art created using it. The original was drawn at 600dpi and is 60cm wide but, of course, restrictions here mean you're seeing a much smaller 72dpi version. I've used photographic source materials for the hands (mine!) and instrument (also mine!)and the building (based on one in Istanbul) and the rest is shamelessly "inspired" by the amazing French artist, Moebius. The picture is for use on my band's website, hence the text. The concept is to try and capture the ideas of ancient, Middle-Eastern, technological and science fiction/fantasy all in one image.
